President

Karie N. Wilson, Esq. & Partner

Karie N. Wilson began her legal career at Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen & Sanders in 2001 following her graduation from law school. In October 2007, Karie became a partner in the firm. She focuses her practice in civil litigation with an emphasis in product liability and transportation litigation. Karie is licensed to practice in all courts in the State of Nevada, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is also licensed to practice in California.

Karie was born in Pueblo, Colorado. When she was 5 her family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where her father took a teaching job. Karie graduated magna cum laude from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1998. While at UNM, she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Karie attended California Western School of Law on a three-year academic scholarship. During law school, Karie participated on the Moot Court Team and was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. Karie graduated from California Western School of Law in 2001 with a Juris Doctorate.

Angela Go, CPA (Audit Manager)

Angela Go is an Audit Manager in the Firm’s audit department and has been with Piercy Bowler Taylor & Kern since September 2006. Ms. Go is involved in audit, review, compilation, and other attest services for a wide-range of clients in the government, not-for-profit and casino resort industries. Angela has experience in financial statement preparation and accounting research for a wide variety of clients. She has been involved extensively in audit and other attest function and accounting services. Her experience includes single audits in accordance with Government Auditing Standards and compliance with OMB Circulars relative to federal awards.

Ms. Go is a certified public accountant in Nevada and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She graduated from the University of Phoenix, Las Vegas, with a BS in Business Accounting. She is originally from Chicago, Illinois where she graduated from Lane Technical High School with honors and was the recipient of the coveted Wabeno Award for community and school service. Ms. Go’s previous career was in the retail industry where she worked for 13 years, 10 of those years were spent in management.
